How do I get a horse?

I have obtained pearls and a few other sundry items from the monsters I've fought. Is there any use for them other than selling them to a merchant?

Horses are Premium items, you buy them with Ximerin.
You can get Ximerin by buying them for real money.

No, all items found that are classed as Loot can only be sold to merchants.
