PVP tournament

Fights aren't restricted to 1 v 1 btw, feel free to have a 2 v 2, 3 v 3 or 5 v 5 for example; if you do - make sure your "team mates" know before submitting here and that way we only have to figure out how to get the other teams members to join the fight

A lot of players have been wanting some restrictions put into place;

Warlock PVPS: No "Master of Doom"
Barb PVPs: No "Mind squasher" - if people have a problem with this rule, you can figure it out on the day with the other player you're pvping.
Hunter PVPS: No Camo/Stalker.

The tournament end date for sign up is 5th July (Friday) - On midnight or so I will make a list of matches, then you will have a week to make those matches take place (I will help setting up them, don't worry). If there are enough of each class, then it will simply be rounds during the first set of matches, then if you win you'll progress on to the next match. I will try to make the "semi-final/finals" happen at a specific time/date so that everyone can be there to watch, but if the players play in different time zones, this will be hard. I'll try to record as many matches as possible, though.
FIRST TO 3 (BEST OF 5 FIGHTS) progresses.


2v2 section: (Class restricted: Warrior vs Warrior/Mage vs Mage/Archer vs Archer)**** ONLY if we have more teams entered; this rule is only in place because people have complained that they don't wanna compete in 2v2 if it's not class restricted, but they still haven't entered.

How the tournament will work: On friday night I will assign every player (per class) a number between x-y (depending on how many enter). I will draw those numbers randomly (using and internet site ) and that will decide who fights who. You have a week to arrange and fight that player (I will help arrange, don't worry haha) and it will be the FIRST ROUND. If you lose your pvps, you will be eliminated from the tournament (UNLESS their are a "bad" number of entries, in which case non-winners may get to fight again to retain their spot in the tournament.). If there are 16 players of a specific class, it will be simply like this:

The tournament means that there is more than "one date" for players to be able to participate in their fight, which I feel is a good thing, and the results will come in over time. You MUST report to me, either by this thread, pm, in game or facebook (hell, some of you even have me on skype/msn) the result of your match/matches in the tournament ASAP and BEFORE the following Friday.

There will be ONE winner per subclass, and possibly the subclasses will pvp (Barb VS Knight/Marksman vs Hunter/Conj vs Lock) in a first to 5/best of 9 match to decide the champion of their class.

All fights (except for same realm fights, which will need to take place in the arena) will happen on herb beach, as this provides the best environment for PVP; it also means if people want to watch they know where it's happening. They'll happen over the course of the week (first round) when the two opponents can be online at the same time.

Any advice on format/layout would be helpful. Today we had sort of a "test run" and it worked out that people would pvp, generally best of 3 and it was quite fun. Gonna make a video from it I think, if I have the time to upload it haha.
