Request for a Quick Disconnect option

At least until the lag issues have been solved, I would very much like to request the addition of a quick disconnect feature. I attempted to disconnect during a bad bad lag event (50k ramping up to 111k) and spent the next 300 seconds watching the counter try to count down from "15 seconds to disconnect."

While highly amusing, I have to say it was incredibly frustrating as well. At least the rest of global chat got a big laugh out of it when I said something at the two-minute mark.

yeah, i was there... and it took me the same time to discconect... if u want to leave the game faster... just do a crtl+alt+del and kill the process... your char will be logued for a few minutes after u closed the game... but nothing to care about. (i think, hehe).

Normally I'd agree and go with closing the process or alt-F4 etc, but I'd rather not for two reasons. The first is because I do not know the game's save points. Had I just dumped out I may have forced myself into a rollback if the database hadn't yet written my character to file.

Second, because the game is still in beta, I didn't want to chance causing fragmented files, memory leaks, or any other number of problems which can arise from improper exiting of a piece of software. While this was much less a concern than the first issue, it did cross my mind.

Hence the request for a quick save and exit option.

Also, 15 seconds is a long time if you're trying to leave your computer quickly!

I have experienced this roll-back by alt-f4 but it was only my charactor's location, and spell/action bar: when i logged in, my level and items were correct but i was not in the right location, and my spell bar was back to default one

i'm not sure if this due to my action, but it's a possibilty because i exited incorrectly
