1.0.8 Update (Longbow vs Shortbow)

NGD,

First I would like to say that I love the new versions animations, as they assist me greatly in knowing who is about to cast a ranged skill. 1.0.8 as a whole is a success in my opinion and has moved the game in a balanced direction. There is however one problem with 1.0.8. Please take the time to consider the following.

Concerns: Longbow vs Shortbow skill casting times

Longbow:
Sheild peircing - casting time .5

Shortbow:
Dualshot - casting time 1.0


Proposal: NGD please make dual shot casting time (.5) like Sheild Peircing
Proposal 2: Set all archer attack skills that are (.5) to (1.0) to make things fair.

Reasoning:
It just does not make sense to me that long bows can hit/cast faster than shortbows with a greater range.

im not sure what long bow you are using but my long bow cast more then twice slower then the short. If anything the attack speed should be increased on the long... sorry just my opinion (but i love dots)

ok then i will explain in detail

hunters with longbows can
basic + ensnare + basic + sheild peircing
Kite ensnare + kite sheild peircing

hunters with shortbow can
basic + ensnare piggyback only
dual shot has a casting time of 1 second ... but makes you stand for too long
Anytime you cast duel shot in the middle of combat you will get hit 100% before that monster dies.

Longbows casting times are not effected by weapon speed...

Since all the above is true, longbow + ensnare kite/glides are all we need now to kill warriors. Shortbow is obsolete......

Note to all hunters using fast shortbows "fail"

That would nerf cc skills with attack part pretty hard and also nerf fluid gameplay.

let me begin by saying shield piercing SUCKS anyway...dual short is more reliable. maybe it should just be switched dual shot can be .5 and shield pierce 1.0 just to piss everyone off that uses long bow with their hunter. (what marksman uses it anyway?)
