Default Did you liked the new range on bows?

Hello, i know that there have players who did not enjoyed/agreed with the nerf in the bows range; I just wanted to know from the forum users how many agreed or not, with the change.

Yes. Now archer is more skilled class, now it's harder to stay out of view and spam shield piercing, parabolic and run away.

Still want to see foresight changed to 15% max.
Those marks who play max range can still reach 45 range...

This pretty much, the range change was a great idea, but marksman can still hit from a huge distance.

New range? The "original" range of the bows was restored. At last.
Didn't vote, not "everything is cool".
Far from it.

Exclamation

Ichi is SO right.

Reflect using the #'s:

Basic marks' LB range (usually) = 30m + 10% foresight = 33m + 20% para shot +2% focus = 39.6m +15% killer instinct (from walls) = 44.1m + gears.

Maxy marks' LB range (usually) = 30m +20% foresight = 36m + 25% para shot +10% focus = 46.5m +15% killer instinct (from walls) = 51m + gears.

"...now everything is cool"?

Retards really using Focus/Killer instinct? A good marks can hardly afford this. 2 of the worst spells for marks. This what separates good marks from bad ones.

I'm happy that range was reverted back to its original values. I'm not sure why NGD buffed range in the first place. But I'm not sure about a lot of decisions NGD makes.

This isn't really a viable setup. Focus isn't worth the powerpoints with its small range increase and high cooldown. A marksman would have to sacrifice 15 power points, tricks and damage to be able to skill all these spells.

Perhaps someone could explain to us why the range nerf is a negative change?

No one uses focus tbh, rarely even see killer instinct. Marks deserve a bigger range than hunters ofcourse, but not as excessive as it is now.

People who liked to pew pew think its a negative change, with how it is currently you have to use your brain a certain amount instead of hitting 350+ from range 50. It'll take a while for these types of people to realise how to play properly again.

I would give many reasons....but in short words...

Would not be due the fact that now mages can hit with normal hits from the same distancy or even more, than an archer? Which was suposed to be the "ranged class" of the game?
And i will not even say that a warlock now can meteor a hunter and cast spells even before the hunter be able to hit him witth a normal hit.

Archers already got Son of the wind, Escapist, Evasive Tatics and Acrobatics nerfed, and now the range of attack got reduced to less than the range of attack from a staf.

This way better NGD delete the class of archers at once, at least will be faster than keep killing the class little by little.
