General rules:
BEST OF 3 matches (Will run on a point system, explained later)
10 minute time limit per match
No boss jewellery.
No outside interference.
No tree hugging.


Barbarian:
2 handed weapon only.
No MS.
Defensive support ALLOWED.



Knight:
No defensive support allowed.
No MS allowed.
No defensive stance allowed.


Hunter:
No Camo allowed.
No Stalker allowed.
Pet ALLOWED.
No PARABOLIC SHOT.


Marksman:
Anything goes.


Warlock:
No MOD.
No WM Tree

Warju:
No summon.
No warmaster tree.

I don't know how u can reinforce these rules like no boss jewelry allowed. how do you know if the guy is using wm tree or not. Also there is certain imbalance involved when it comes to pure pvp. How do you expect warlock fight marks in open field without treehugging? knights without block...hunters without camo. how do you expect barbs/knights to ever kill warlock in pvp...u know things like that...I mean a noob can skill lvl 5 slow and all that shit just to make barbs miserable. Sames goes for all the other classes.

you are taking away all the signature spells that a class uses in general warzone and I don't think winning a pvp of this kind have any significance at all. ppl reset skills just to kill 1 specific class which doesn't help at all when it comes RvR in the warzone lol the whole point of pvp is to help u improve hand reflex, second nature casting, spell chain use so they can be applied to general warzone when there are multiple enemies. pvp is not to have a specialized setup to kill someone specific so they can feel better about themselves...

but anyway good luck with the tournament. id be happy to challenge anyone with just my current wz setup with mod in it but ofc I won't use it hehe

imo street fighters are the real guys that are lethal and not some half naked dudes in a ring with rules like "not allowed to hit private spots" lol just saying.

I'm sorry, I would have liked to joined this tournament and some of the others you've had before, but I agree with heph on this one. Some of the rules for these matches make this tournament pointless. Expanding on some of the points he mentioned, how do you expect two warjurs to fight without a summon? A warjur with a drac gem couldn't kill a warjur with the defense buffs, are we supposed to run around silencing each other and casting mana burn and arcane missle? Also, how do you expect mele characters to fight ranged without using obstacles? Without a set ground or "ring" all this does is make the character with higher range and base damage an easy win. It's a lot more fun and more challenging trying to kite a barb with a decent weapon and boss jewels that I know will kill me in a kick if he catches me, or a knight that isn't almost defenseless, or being caught in the open and plinked by archers. Have you tried to chase a max range marksman or a hunter on warjur or lock? It isn't very fun most of the time, and if you do get close enough you have to hope to land through SOTW. I'm out of this one, you can find heph or myself in game for pvps.

To be fair, it's more for fun. I was going to make it a "points based" thing, where the same classes fight each other.

So barb vs barb etc. That's that the rules are there.

Since it's same class match-ups the no tree-hugging (it will be on a beach, anyway) makes sense. You're right, we can't enforce no boss jewellery, we have to go on the assumption if one player is hitting a lot harder than the other, they're using it. It's a judgement call, honestly. If a person does seem to be using it, i'll give them a warning, then DQ them, giving points to the other persons realm.

Time limit on barb match means less of that running around like a bitch for 10 minutes.

No parabolic shot means hunters actually have to USE their CC's.

Warlock: most warlocks have the same cast-speed. It is fairly obvious if a warlock is warmaster. No MOD is obvious, totally retarded for pvp.

No summon in Warju pvp, i'm open to change on that, I just thought warju pvps are so boring that they might find a bit more interest in using no summon, like good old days in arena when you couldn't use a summon.

Every time I run a tournament, someone will have something they don't agree with.

So far I have around 28 characters entered. You may enter more than one character.


EDIT: Even if you don't join, feel free to come along and watch, maybe have some pvps with the other players there off of the actual PVP area. It'll be a fun evening.

Warju pvps used to take place all the time without pet, but again I am on consideration of this limitation.

Where did anyone say barbs will pvps warlocks and hunters will pvp knights? The pvps will be warju vs warju etc.

Everything else you have posted is irrelevant. Whatever spells have been banned are for the good of the pvp. And remember, this is just for fun. Rather be having a nice meet up pvping than standing at CS jacking off.

like I said, if it's same class only, then ppl are going to set up differently than they normally do in warzone which totally defeats the purpose of pvp because ppl would intentionally lvl up spells and remove spells to kill one specific class
