Champions of Regnum Official PvP Tournament!

Welcome to the first official Champions of Regnum PVP Tournament, hosted by official staff with the assistance of our Helpers team!

This tournament will be held in a single elimination format, and will gather up players from all realms and subclasses together, to find out who are the best out there.

The prizes are the ones shown in the image, and there will be winners in each one of the subclasses, as the tournament itself will be divided in 6 mini tournaments (one per subclass)

Sign-up:

In order to sign up for the tournament, just follow the link to the subclass you wish to sign up for.

- Knight
- Barbarian
- Hunter
- Marksman
- Warlock
- Conjurer

Remember to write the EXACT (case sensitive) name of your character, the realm of your character, and which time frame you’re available to play 100% sure.

Keep also in mind that in case you sign-up for more than 1 subclass, more than 1 match at the same hour may occur. Please make absolutely sure that this won’t happen to you by checking out the match-ups sheet. If it does happen that you have more than one match at the same time, you will only be able to play one of them.

Even though you may sign up for more than 1 subclass, there’s a limit for 2 inscriptions per account.

When using banner, summonings get bugged. Is there any chance to use a different PvP method?

I also have a question, and I do really hope some staff member of NGD could answer me:

Why did you give Ra players the freedom of choosing the best time they can play, but with Haven players you are already setting up a schedule? By saying that conjurer´s PvPs are all going to be at 7 pm GMT you are already desquialifying those who cannot play at that time... really unfair.

I hope I had misunderstood, and if so, please let me know that.

2 questions:

What's the point of the 5 minutes time limit per fight? Some pvp's like knights, conjus or warlocks ones could last more than that, and declaring a draw after 5 minutes when a fight could end 2 or 3 minutes later makes no sense to me. Specially if the draw means "1 less round, and the one who wins the next one is the winner"

and, What's the point of the strict time frame rule, stated in the rules text? This is an international server, and people is not online 24 hours a day. People have lives, so why not to let the contestants and GC arrange a fight by themselves, at a time that suits them all

Now that you have extended the inscriptions you´ll have to change the match-up sheet because there were some matches already scheduled. I also wanted to let you know that Conjurer of Veterans quit the tournament... he told me yesterday, but ofc, I told him to send you a message or a notification.

So far we haven't experienced problems with summons, but if the contestants are from different realms, they can ask to hold the PvP without banner. If they are from the same realm, unfortunately we have no other way to duel than using duel banners. I personally am not familiar with this bug, could you elaborate perhaps?

These times for Haven are made because we have to start somewhere, the participants are free to arrange their PvPs at different times, as long as they consult it with us and their opponent.

Get two conjus with enough level to summon Lich and/or Zarkit. Make them from the same realm. So far so good? Great. Now, get those two conjus into the coliseum/arena. Both summon Zarkit/Lich and attack each other summons. You´ll see that your summons will attack each other.
Now, repeat the same pattern, but this time do not go to the colisum/arena; this time use a duel banner, and, as you did in the previous match, do not attack between you, but attack your summons. You will see how summons do not attack between them, they just stay still.
Same happens with pets, that is the reason why Rhaegal lost his first PvP, if you were paying attention, he attacked his opponent´s pet, but his pet just stayed still.
Anyhow, I do ot think this is the best threat to discuss this. Im out :3

She was obliged to say yes. The rules were clear, however, being given that the tournament runs with flags, when a participant leaves the area he loses.

Can anyone please explain to me this ?

8 players will be admitted per tournament, which means there will be 2 from Syrtis, 2 from Ignis and 2 from Alsius. The remaining slots will be given to the first realms that gather up 2 members, allowing them to have 3 instead. This will be independent in each subclass, which means that a realm may have 3 warlocks, but 2 in other categories. It all depends on the order in which the users sign up.Those who don’t make it will form a list. This list will be used in case someone refuses to play or disqualified before the tournament stars.

Does this mean only 8 players can do the pvp tournament per class ?
