Ingame Chat Translation

I just wanted to tell u about a project i am working on.
Currently i am building a small java programm to take a screenshot of the chat window.
Run it thu a simple 1bit ocr ^^.
Look for a string like "+trans (Message)".
Send the Message to the google translate Page.
Look for the translation in the returned html code.
And display it in a second window automatically.

To answer i type my message in the window and my tool types it automatically into the regnum window using simulated keystrokes.

The OCR and the keystroke simulation already workes.
But making a complete programm out of this is a completely different thing,(and a lot of work).

Now my question would you have use for such a tool ?

Nice work ELI, If you need any help with the code I am more than willing to help. Just find me in game and let me know. Hope you get it finished soon this would be a great tool for regnum. Only problem is we have to make your on dictonary for it because of the slang used. Such as grax and things like that. Also your own dictonary will also make it run faster with out lagging the game speed since is not using google. Anyways Nice Work

Here is a small update:
The screen shot shows my self made, soon to be useless auto map.

It is my first java program and it was fun to code so i am only slightly sad it it is already implemented on the beta server.

@DaggerSpell: Regnum is not slowed down because it is a separate program.
@Xephandor: I don't know if i am going to release it as Open Source since it can be used to do BadThings(tm).

I know, but the ones who can really understand how Java work aren't going to flood the chat... Well.. There's a contramesure that Surak implemented in the Experimental server that mutes you in case of flooding

thats what popped up into my mind. first step to a RO-bot.
But then every technology can be used to do evil.
