unfair? i think so! portugal have to fight throw!

This last weekend, the portuguese couldnt play because of a prob of the server. I think the admins should send a mensage to our mail saying why we cant play regnum and no by the friends we have that told me(in this case) what was the prob. We, portugueses didnt receive any apologise por what was hapenning. And after people ask, why there isnt portuguese players well qualificated. ill explain, in this weekend i would get on 43, but i couldnt do that because we couldnt play.FOR A GAME THAT IS NOT IN BETA, WE SHOULD EARN SOMETHING. I GET DOWN 2 POSITIONS ON THE RANKING CAUSE OF THAT, IN EXP, AND 1 IN MONEY!!!

I THINK SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE CAUSE WHE ARENT IN A 3ºCATEGORY GAME! hope the admins get the mensage.( this is the first time it hapens since i play. we could had 1k of ping but we could play when it was in beta...)

It seems you're not aware of how the Internet works. Series of tubes and all of that. Anyhow, the point is the Regnum admins can't do anything about connectivity problems. The server was up this week-end. You should complain to your ISP.

u dont know what u are saying cause the prob was that the people in portugual couldnt play regnum casue of the server. that is in swede. and now i can play. but i coulnd enter the site.

I find it funny that you would say this to me because obviously YOU don't know what you are saying. I have some experience with server/network administration having worked at a NOC in a datacenter and the Regnum servers are hosted in a... datacenter! NDG loans the connectivity and is in no way responsible nor has administrative rights for the peering. They are clients of their server provider just like you are client of your ISP. If something stops working, they can tell their provider (which is called City Network Hosting AB, www.citynetwork.se for details) but they can't do shit by themselves to solve that problem. It's highly unlikely that they would configure the server to refuse Portuguese players, and it's very likely that there was a peering problem with some Portuguese ISPs which is totally out of their control. So I was just saying, they don't owe you anything, that's what the Internet is, a "best effort" network. Sometimes a part of it goes down. Anyway please not I didn't totally rule out their banning of Portuguese players, maybe I'm wrong, but that would be strange mistake (or maybe a ban too large because of bad haxx0rz). Whatever the reason is, you just can't suppose that they banned you guys on purpose

. Oh and since the website and the game server are most likely hosted on two different machines at the same place, they would have had to make the mistake on both machines

... Even more unlikely.

no thats not the case a lot of ppl was saying they was not able to play they was from prtugal. i have like 4 in my clan i was only able to find out after i notice they was not able to go in. it was mostly the server problem not leting them in or something it has nuthin to do with there isp

First, NGD (niclam) has already stated they did not exclude players from Portugal. Why should they? I have not seen the error message but am willing to believe it was "Could not connect to (autopatch) server" or similar.
Same as for alsviar goes for you, you have to understand how the internet works to see why NGD cannot be held in any way responsible for that.
There was most likely a routing problem an the way from Portugal to the server in Sweden that caused connections to be lost. Maybe misconfiguration, maybe peering between ASNs got dropped due to unpaid fees, maybe broken hardware. It happens every day all over the internet.
