Music/Sounds stopped working

Not sure what happened but by music/sounds stopped working for the game, not sure what to do about it. It worked fine when I installed, then I exited, came back, exited came back, and then maybe 6-8hours after installation the music/sounds did not work at all.

The sounds/music works EVERYWHERE else except the game so rule out the notion that I accidently muted.

Iam using Win XP Home SP2

Not sure what other technical info to give but this laptop is only 1 year old and it was a brand new model, so it is really 1 year old. (Sony Vaio)

I have the very same problem. Sound works everywhere except on this game, though all sounds are enabled in the game. Worked for the first few days I played, then simply stopped.
