Looking for a Clan...

Hello...

I am very new to Regnum... I am however a veteran of mmorpg's... ( been playing mmorpg's for over a decade )... I created my first character on Alsius but I would be willing to move for the right fit...

I am looking for a mostly english speaking clan... that has a fair amount of people playing in the 7pm to 11pm ( CST ) time frame...

I am liking the game so far... reminds me alot of Everquest ( the 1st one )...

I am a mature player ( I am 38 years old ) and I am always willing to help...

I started a warrior... but would be willing to change classes to fit a clans needs... I typically play a healer or a back up tank/dps type class in other games... So I guess here that would translate to a Berserker or a Conjuror... But that is just my guess right now with my limited experience...

In Alsius there's PERL, Thugsters, Flame of Valhalla and some others (how evil of me to call the rest as some others ).

The ones I mentioned are mostly English speaking clans. PERL and FoV are medium sized clans while Thugsters seem to be the largest Enlgish speaking clan in Alsius.

I don't know PERL's entry requirements but you can "/chat " Blu, ByteMe, Thesis or Compoundious if you're interested in joining them.

Thugsters... I'm not sure who are their senior members so I'll just rattle off some names I know which are makarios, beue, niola...

For Flame of Valhalla, we only require you to be able to speak English and remain active... /chat Znurre, Ironfoot, Mosh, Heglin, or me (Amade Wossname) if you want to join

I'm not familiar with time zones, but a quick search in Wikipedia tells me there are 3 different CST: U.S. Australian and also Chinese. Which are you?

I know Blu plays somewhere along 20 hour per day and he is in Europe if I'm not mistaken. Comp is American I think.

Quite a large number of FoV members are European and are most often on anytime between noon to midnight their time. I'm Malaysian myself so my timezone is only 1 hour difference to Australian CST and I play whatever time I like :P. We have an American or two in the clan too.

Again, I'm not sure about Thugsters. Assuming that a large part of their clan is active I guess you'd have a better chance logging in and finding other clanmates online.

As for what classes we are in need most, I'd say archers. We seem to have only two active archers but another conjurer is always welcome (they always are). Despite what we need, I think it's best if you play whichever character that suits your playing style best.

Sorry about the timezone thing... kind of rude on my part...

Currently I am 5 hours behind GMT... or 6 hours behind UTC I think...lol

I am in north america... the same time zone as Chicago.

I could give an archer a try... are they hard to level up??

I am an Alt-Aholic so I am sure I will make one of each... lol

However after reading everything I have read about the classes... and knowing what I know about myself and what I like... I would say that in this game... these will be my favorite classes...

Barbarian
Hunter
Conjuror

Probably in that order... but time will tell...

And I do like the clan name "Flame of Valhalla" very much...
