Help regarding the hunter
Hello. I'm new to this game and I've decided to build a hunter. Still, there are a couple of questions which bug me:
1. Attributies - do you change anything here (except on character creation)? 2. Powers and abilities - as a good hunter, which should I try to use? (pets, scouting, long bow, short bow etc.)? Also, another question regarding points. I read that each abillity has five levels? How much points will I get and why, until level 10, did I get only one... (or I think I'm level 10, anyway). Thanks in advance! |

2) Up to level 10 you get 1, after level 10 you start getting 2 or more every few levels. You can use the trainer (http://www.regnumzg.com.ar/index.php...iner&Itemid=44) to see how many points you'll have at any given level. You can level any skill to level 2 if you're over level 8. You can level any skill to level 3 as long as the skill tree it belongs to is level 11 or higher. You can level any skill to level 4 as long as the skill tree it belongs to is level 15 or higher You can level any skill to level 5 as long as the skill tree it belongs to is maxed (level 19). I prefer longbows to shortbows, but some other hunters go with short. Long have the obvious advantages of range and damage.. Short have uh.. Speed :P I also prefer the skills in the longbow tree, although I end up dumping spare points into short to get the dex buff. Pets are pretty essential to a hunter if you're leveling (especially alone). In the warzone they're less essential. Your main strength as a hunter is evasion, speed, and tracking. I personally have points in pets, long bows, scouting, evasion.. Then any spares go into short bows for the dex buff and tricks. You can reset all your skills at any time with /reset_powers, then go back to a trainer and do it over. |

1) you can with some (passive) spells. As kiirani said, there is a spell in the "short bow" tree that passively increases your dexterity (passive: when you have the spell, it's always on and doesn't cost mana). Some spells temporarily cause some attributes to go up.
Also, some items you buy may increase some attributes. I think some garments or bows do this, mostly the superior or "special" types... And of course, rings and amulets you get when questing/killing bosses... Other than that, there is no way to change the attributes in the lifetime of you character...

Thank you very much for the info.... I have just one more small question or remark. I'm god damn stuck. I just reached Montsognir, chose my subclass and no more quests. The town crier says tot talk to Borghild, but when I talk to him, he says nothing interesting and no quest button appears. I don't know what has gone wrong.

Weird, but there's not much you can do if you're out of quests, just go grind to the next level

The one where the Town crier tells you to speak to Borghild is an error. There are no quests from Borghild apart from the one where the General in Rottersval told you to see him, and another quest much later on. Ignore it and continue lvling or doing other quests

The problem is I'm level 10 and I'm not getting any quests in town, and I've spoken with a lot of people. I don't know with whom I should speak to proceed. Or must I continue leveling on my own, and quests will follow after a level!?
