Long term login problems

It normally takes 4-5 tries for the program to open successfully on my computer. When I click on the launch icon, it boots up, but the 'accept' button is not lit, and the central text area shows 'Loading...". This doesn't change even after 10-15 min.

I normally just press cancel, and run again until it runs properly.

Lately, this has stopped working. It's also impossible for me to access the www.regnumonline.com.ar site through normal methods. When I try, I get a "Internet explorer cannot display the webpage" message. I am able to access the site running Firefox with a TOR anonymizer though.

I'm wondering if these 2 issues are related. Is my ISP blocking regnum for some reason, and if so, can I route my regnum access through the TOR program? I'm living in China, and the local ISP's regularly block some internet access.

I'm also running Windows Vista Home Pro, and this may have bearing as well.

i heared the china is often blocking random sites and all kinds of connection and DNS errors are quite common there.

It all points to your ISP.

And yes those problems are related as the launcher downloads the news, serverstatus and eula via web each time you start it.
im not sure where the laucher gets its proxysettings from, maybe it uses the one from the internet explorer.
You could try to point those to tor
