The White Company Information Center

The White Company has a full clan forum located at Syrtis HQ. Clan members are encouraged to register there.

You couldn’t ask for a better Inn. So for a moment at least, beer firmly in hand, we clear a long table to plot and plan and work out the business of The White Company, a clan of Syrtis. Find the clan’s mission statement, code of conduct for the members, and rank explanation below.

Mission Statement:

To create a fun and engaging clan environment to play in, to experiment with a new scheme for rank advancement, and to generate a new strategy for the warzone.

Code of Conduct

1. Respect: in a game and forum environment that can be at times contentious, as clan members we need to treat each other with respect. We need to also afford similar courtesy to others we interact with in Syrtis and also among those from other realms.
2. Language: part of being respectful is to refrain from using foul language toward each other. Being abusive toward your clan mates in chat, forum, or PM should never occur.
3. Wisdom: aiding lower level players is one of the missions of the White Company, answering questions, assisting on quests with advice and reasonably helping others advance in rank is the responsibility of all clan members.
4. Save and Gate Camping: camping will not be tolerated. The White Company defines camping as loitering in the area of a save or gate for more than a minute. Members will be expelled for doing so.
5. Mercy: White Company clan members are charged to not attack an unarmed enemy, those resting, or those who bow to us without attacking either ourselves or others in the area.

Ranking System

This ranking system is an experiment, and it is quite possible that no one will want to do any of it. In my experience, all clan ranking systems are fairly random in their creation and sometimes in their execution. The White Company’s ranking system is no different. The concept is, to grow in rank White Members need to complete various tasks to prove that they are worthy of the next level. Many of these tests will be proven by posting a screenshot of the activity right here on this thread. I will update ranks every two weeks or so. Unlike many other clans, your rank in The White Company is largely up to each individual member.

The White Company is made of Two Divisions, the Black Owl division made of those new to the clan and the Halbred Division, made of those who operate more often in the War Zone.

Clan Action

What is a clan action? From as simple as getting together to practice in the arena on Saturday morning, or as complicated as organizing a clan hunt into enemy territory or any number of other things. Actions will be broadcast via PM and/or announced on clan chat. It would be best not to advertise clan hunts here, as this Inn is crowded and no one knows who else is listening.

Enabling Private Messages

First log in by entering your regnum sign-in and pass word in the boxes marked on the upper right. Next, click on "User CP" on the upper left. On the left menu choose "Edit Options." Check the box "enable private messages" under the "Messaging and Notification Section." If this fails, leave a response here while we work things out.

Anyone interested in joining the White Company, please PM me and I will do my best to accommodate.

Hey this is vince/boosh, where is soras on Lam isle? More importantly where is Lam Isle? Can anyone post a map of where Lam Isle is, as Laxer and I would like to take this challenge, and become next rank!

Lam Island is the island in the initiation area.

On at least one of the quests when you were less than lvl 10 you visited the island to speak to an elf and then were directed to kill wasps.

Soras looks like an overside aquantis. He hangs out on the beach.

By the way don't for get to PM me te get to your next lvl.

Road Maintenance..........Clan action any day for the next week ending 1/14/08

The White Company is a service oriented organization. Part of that service is making sure the roads of the realm are clear of monsters and others who would do fellow Syrtians harm.

As a clan in groups of two or more over the next week, take time to clear the main roads of all unfriendly creatures. You only need to clear one main road to qualify. These roads are the ones from Fisgeal to the Great Gate, from Fisgeal to Korsum, from Korsum to Raeraia, or from Raeraia to Doshim.

PM me or post a screen shot labeled with who participated as a record of completion.

Hi all.. well i post the shots of soras defeated hehe..
the second was when the corpse were in the ground.. but just when i was presin' key the corpse desapeared :S.. so i search for another soras for about an hour and he never respawn!! :S
so there are the screenshots.. if inst clear i go and kill another one :P
