I hate fantasy books. But at least I know and read them, I know what to hate for. Forgotten Realms, Sapkowski, King, I don't even get into them. I don't "feel" them. They're too shallow for me.
(btw Harry Potter is the worst $*** I've ever read ) I prefer historical books about real life. But that doesn't mean I can't play fantasy games or draw comics. I enjoyed playing Eve and Auto Assault, but Regnum has something more than fantasy looks - it has the community we could make a discussion someday, you know. Fantasy fans vs Reality fans or something lol but none the less my favourite fantasy creature is a werewolf - it looks cool

Dandellion Wine of Ray Bradbury... makes me cry even remember some parts of the book.
But couldn't name a favourite... I like a lot of them and don't want to state a favourite... I don't want them to get jealous (?)

I'll name 3, it's just too hard to pick one! José Saramago's "Ensaio Sobre a Cegueira" (the literal translation would be "Essay on Blindness" although its English edition's name is "Blindness") Jorge Luis Borges's "Ficciones" ("Fictions" in English) Alexandro Jododrowsky and Moebius (Jean Giraud)'s "L'Incal" (it's one of those things that you read during your childhood and makes you be a "nerd" for the rest of your life ) Ah, and... Milo Manara's "Click" series (no comments, I wonder if anyone knows this piece of art )

There's too many to list, but a few notable ones;
At The Mountains Of Madness by H. P. Lovecraft the Night's Dawn trilogy (the reality dysfunction, the neutronium alchemist, the naked god) by Peter F. Hamilton Neuromancer by William Gibson The Stars My Destination by Alfred Bester
