Starter Ditribute points problem

Hey when ever i try to make a character and go to put distribute points in i click on the highlighted name but when i do they do not go into it why is that?

Try doing it in windowed mode, not fullscreen, in some windows versions apparently the screen doesn't align with the mouse, so you have to click a little above it or below it, don't know more than that, I run linux myself (:
