My observations

yoho, I posted this what im gonna copy here now in some other thread, but I feel this needs a discussion and the original topic is not a place for it:

I again say it, there are exceptions, I just remarked the overall looks on different realms, seeing especially this topic....
And im not pointing out Ignis' advantage over anyother realm in overall attitide, there are also exceptions showing their influces taken from Alsius or Syrtis, and besided - beaing like that (ironic towards every1) will also lead to community closure to only ppl that treat irony and sarcasm in a neutral way, not pout on every word said, but definately the contacs of these groups wont close on the 'borders'.

AGAIN: I repeat, im talking on the overalls of all realms, not particular persons.

Hehehe i guess i come under the NERD (currently installing linux to my psp) category, but i think you could be wrong in thinking most of the Alsius players have no sense of humour

Im categorizing in view of my sence of humour, thats why i mentioned it not once. Yes maybe ppl inside of the "communities" are funny etc etc, but not in eyes. Simple as that, I say again, Im not judging.

When Boger said Alsuis has not humour, I think he means they act to serious. Just look at the Youtube videos, they say it all

Even in games communities emerge, even when we were young, we divided on different "camps", one camp likes to play comp games, other liked to play soccer, others to play on the playground, and even then we had different view on ppl from the different 'camp', thats how social life emerges doesnt it?
Its normal when ppl meet some other ppl, they try to find the most suitable place to put their asses in, not once we heard of realm changes here, first char was in i.e. Ignis, but changed to alsius etc etc. Same reference to the kids again, If i got bored with soccer, ill go hang out with the guys that play comp games.

And i dont treat this like that you mentioned, just belive me, getting to know ppl from different realms (and even trying to switch realms) throut almost a year here, made my opinion about all of them. Ive hit the spot more or less for different ppl, its normal, not every1 will love me for these words, not every1 will agree, most will argue, but thats what im looking for, a normal discussion finally ffs

Maybe because Im the type of person that observes much, compares and then makes own grades and categorizies ppl in my point of view on 'good', 'neutral', 'bad' - I know its bad, but I cant help it
And when it comes to larger communities (exactly like realms in RO) I categorize and grade the realm (after getting to know some members of that community). Simple as that.

Meh. That's really over-generalizing. Unless you've played all realms for quite a while and in multiple clans per realm as well, I'd say the only thing you can judge from is the forums - major mistake. Just because one big clan in one realm has some certain attitude or a couple of well known players from another realm act a certain way, doesn't mean the whole realm is like that.

I think the attitudes you described are pretty much uniform-spread across realms.

No I think it suits us well. But who cares, don't need to have sense of humor to have fun in that game.
