Refresh rate options?

I tried to use a resolution of 1440x900 and it looked all jacked up. I need to get the refresh rate to 60hz for it to work but I didn't see any options for that. I check in the configuration files and didn't see it there either. Is there a way to add in a refresh rate option?

I assume you're using windows and fullscreen mode. You can force the refresh rate using dxdiag tool from DirectX.
