Passwords and Death system.

Not sure if this is in the right thread but I was just wondering if there is a way to change your password to what you want it to be. Not just have a random one generated. Could someone please tell me where to go to do this if I can?

P.S.- How does the death system work in this game? What happens if you die?

in main website of RO it tells u AND in the email u resive or before that u make a password im not sure if it changed but under comunity forum in main page or if u log in in main page u can change pass.

now the death system: if u die by realm enemy u give them points which are basicly worth nothing but count . now if u drown by stupidity or die by a mob (if a mob aka monster kills u past lvl 30 u SHOULD just press esc and clic on die to avoid embarisment ) u get necro, necro just makes ALL ur stats worser for a while. to get rid of necro u need to kill a cuple of mobs around your level the higher the better.

If you die you get necrostacy, wich lowers your stats. You get rid of it by gaining exp from mobs. Then you resurrect at the last altar you saved in.

There´s no loosing any items or exp for dying yet. It´s a pretty friendly system

hehehe...ummm....how do I distribute points starting out? I'm clicking on the stuff I want to give points to but it doesn't do anything...I know I'm a noob.

So what do you mean by saving at an alter? I thought you just pressed escape in the game and quit and it would load from where you left off each time?

This is an altar:



You´ll find those altars (aka saves) near towns, there you can save your position and when you die, you´ll resurrect there.

To give points to skills and masteries you need to go to your class trainer (mage trainer, archer, warrior) at any town.

To assign points to skills click the skill icon, to give points to the mastery, click the "level up" button.

Thanks...So do I only use those as locations to come back to when i die? I mean will my progress through the game be saved by clicking exit after the escape button? Or do I have to go to one of those to offically save my data/game?

for new password, go to website of game, in upper right you ll see log in place. Log in there and after that you will see there link My Profile. Click it and there you can change your auto generated password.
