What kind of haenous crap is this?!?
Please someone explain to me why the heck my HP drops by about 20~25 points when I die.
Is there a way to recover those points other than leveling? As I note it it is possible to have a level 50 person with little more than 250 Hit Points which is totally ridiculous. |

/me breaths
one two three /me breaths more ... Youre refering to dying by mobs? [rethorical question] Ever saw something like necrostacy? [rethorical question] Any idea what influence loosing 2% or your CONSTITUTION will have on your max HP? [rethorical question] Go figure...

fine, I can accept that...
I will admit I am a noob at this game and none of what you said made since other than the idea that max HP is affected by other characteristics of my Avatar. however you did not answer my question; is it possible to recover those what was lost without leveling. the reason I ask is because I feel it an unfair loss if one can never regain their prior level of strength/constitution I have been at 777 HP seven times in this game, and every time I die, I am set back until the next time I level up. Based on this I am guaranteed that at some point I will have played enough to push my character to level 50... as far as I can tell that is the current level cap. meaning that it is possible that once I reach level 50, if I die enough my character will have so low HP that it will make playing the game absolutely no fun for me as I will just die that much FASTER each successive time. that means that eventually I will have to START OVER! I have the philosophy that life is progression, that is NOT progression that is a guaranteed setback. I am asking to be reassured this is not the case. and steps I can take to "repair/restore" myself fully. If the game is built with this "guaranteed failure"... this game is not for me. |

no, you newbie. You have to kill several mobs to remove necro. You don't understand simple logic. You die, you get few percent of necro. Hit C to see it. Kill few mobs, everything goes back to normal.

To all of us who have played for far too long this is too simple, and some "rudeness" may be the result. Those are normally really nice people, although a bit too fond of spamming.
This is how it works: When you get killed by a mob (any kind of monster you meet) or drown or kill yourself you get "necrostacy". That lowers your stats until necrostacy has worn off. For necrostacy to wear off you have to kill mobs (monsters). How many depends, but 10 at most. If you press "C" during game your character sheet will be displayed. There you can see your current necrostacy. You don't loose HP permanently, no need to worry. Good luck in the future, and don't let this scare you from asking questions again! |

XDD don't worry, it's just that we're all tired of answering the same questions ^^'. But as you speak in a well mannered way and as clearly as possible, here are some answers (you'll have to excuse that bad english of mine )
A mob (contraction of "mobile") is a usual term for non playable enemy, the monsters you fight. We also refer as "npc" all non playable characters, essentially the citizens of towns and some merchants your can find in the wilds (they're rare). You will find here a glossary of the most used terms and abbreviations in MMORPGs. And don't worry, our community is by far one the most supportive I could see ! ;D [EDIT] Piz : -.-'

It's not always easy... ^^'
IcoNyx, this is a perfectly normal. The Necrostacy is a malus to your attributes due to your brutal death by a mob. It wears off killing some mobs after that (4-5 some Normal mobs should do it). Totally off-topic though (?) : since I spend some time on Horus, I found people asking for the eternal : "Hey, wtf, where can I sleep to heal ?". My favorite answer is now : "Just push "Inser" to rest. And while you wait, push also "H", that will help you".
