Where's the sound?

I run Windows XP Home Basic and my only Internet connection is dialup. I would guess that the audio streams from the servers but I put this in the suggestions box and got referred here. So I'm confused. I just want to hear the promised audio. Right now I use iTunes in the background with a playlist full of music from other RPGs, but that solution is not optimal. Am I right in thinking that dialup is too slow to get to listen to the audio?

Hi Haku2049,

If I understood correctly, you are having trouble to make Regnum Online sound work.

You must check three things:

- Have OpenAL installed
- In the launcher options, have sound activated.
- In the in-game options, have sound volume up.

Thanks. Installing OpenAL got things to work. Now if only their audio wasn't so repetitive...
