Translucent Regnum

Hello everyone! I just installed Hardy Heron and now Regnum opens in a translucent window when played in full screen. If I play it on windowed mode, I don't have this problem. On Gutsy with Compiz, I didn't have this problem. I'm sure it can be fixed somewhere in the Advanced Desktop Effects Settings but I can't find it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Yeah I found it pretty amusing too. I'm pretty sure the problem lies somewhere in compiz' settings. It's been a while since I've played with those settings so I'm a little lost.

did you try alt+mousewheel to change the fullscreen window transparency? in ccsm (advanced window effect settings) it's I think under the General - Opacity (or Transparency? dunno) and maybe there you have fixed transparency for some kind of windows

I tried to take a screenshot, but taking a screenshot displays the game normally. I found the problem... Setting the "dropdownmenu" to a translucent setting in compiz will make regnum translucent. I wonder why it would think regnum was a drop down menu lol...

I'm still looking for a way to exclude just the regnum window from any compiz effects...

What if you start it in a new xsession? Like vt8 for example.
