hello everyone i have a ? for yall today after votein for ngd on there poll on

mmorpg.com all good things i loged out of the fourm and tryed to log back in

and i get this message You have been banned for the following reason:
Forum secondary account. More details: abuse@ngdstudios.com.ar

Date the ban will be lifted: Never im just wounderin why i have goten this

ban i do not understand i have done nothing wrong that i know of plz help me

with this im hopein its just a error

It looks like NGD has started to enforce the "1 account" rule, atleast when it comes to the forum. If that rule would be enforced ingame then half of the userbase would be banned.

I can understand why it's good to enforce that rule on the forums though, othervise we'll have users playing around with 5 accs just because they want to spam.

I know that's not the case for you but some ppl would do it.

The problem is just that they ban on basis of the IP adress.
If I have a LAN at my place, and my friends use their accounts on the forums while behind my router they will all get banned.

The ban is because you cannot use more than one account to post in the forums. This has been a rule for sometime now, because some people get used to create accounts to spam, to insult someone, to give insulting karma, to fake poll results, etc.

This means that you can use only one forum account for each computer. I think the ban system is automatic, so it might happen that there are actually two people that use the forum in that computer. If this is the case, just send a private message to Kailer explaining this situation. Or send an email to abuse@ngdstudios.com.ar .

It has been confirmed that NGD is starting to enforce this rule, inside and outside of the game.

My brother and I play from the same IP-adress(router) for more than a year now and we're still not banned.

His brother is Yest/Ertial Rye.

I think NGD enforced the rule in game too, ask Executor (Syrtis/Ra), apparently he knows someone who was banned for double accounting and someone reported him for double accounting too (but he hasn't been banned in game yet).

I do not think the system is only about IP address. My IP address change every time I connect to Internet, also I post and play from different computers.

I read several times this kind of problems, and I do not have a clue about how it is done, but I understand that NGD has more than one way to know if there are someone using multiple accounts in the forum.

As for the accounts for the game, I do not know of anyone that have a problems for using more than one account, but the rule is there. I honestly do not understand why, because people who wants to play for different realms need to use more than one account. Not to mention that until some kind of box or bank is implemented some people need to use some characters to store items.
