Quick question(s)
Hi everyone, I have been reading a lot about the update... as I can't play right now.(i'm working on that issue) Anyways, I have been reading about a lot of spell changes, and still have some to read about the new invasions. I can't let myself get too behind, or I may seem more noob then ever once I log back in.
Anyways, I was wondering has the evasion stat been changed at all, or are evades still like they were? I guess if evasion is like it was it could be ok, because there are going to be far less resists. I also heard armour is weaker now? Is this the case, and is that less armor points or what? I also noticed that there are attack range items. Where do you get these items from, and does anyone know what the max range +% item is? I saw one for 2%, but if there are items with 5%; things could get interesting really fast. Sorry, for seeming so noob, but I am just trying to take in as much as I can about the new update before I play. My marksman is mostly setup for max range anyways, but now I can finally set my marksman up how he used to be long ago. Things could get really interesting. Can anyone say lethal strike.

Hey Refe,
I can't say I've noticed too much difference from the evasion system, but I can say that increasing or decreasing hit-chance seems to have a much greater effect than before. There are still mobs with SotW though. Protection seems to be unchanged, from what I've seen. I will say though, that most armors have had boosts to the protection bonus (for instance, I have a breastplate that was +4, now its +7). However, the nerf to caution and all spells that have cooldown=duration changes the ballgame in a lot of senses. All the attack range items I've seen were @ 2%. Most of these were from lucky boxes on Amun, but I did receive a lvl 46 knight glove with an attack range boost of 2% (awesome, no?). I don't know off the top of my head what armor parts have the range bonus, but I imagine its probably weapons(?), gloves, and pauldrons. |

WHAT!?Oh well I'm not going to start wondering wether if it's an error or a highly thought desition by the balance staff. I'll stay on topic XD Basically, now your armor is made of paper at melee, but can soak quite some ranged damage, evasion means nearly nothing and now you can have hawk's gaze. Best. Spell. Ever. That's about it. |
