Thumbs up Problems Loading.

Hey there, I downloaded your game today. It looks impressive from the reviews and the screenshots I have seen. But, the game doesn't seem to load properly. Whenever the game launch's and finishes loading and where the GUI's appear (chat, map etc...) the rest of the screen stays white.

Also when I boot up the game I get this error :

Well I can't put in screenshots from ingame, because it doesn't seem to work.

My system specs are the following :

Cheers! And thanks in advance!

Hello Aldreth,

You will need to install the latest DirectX. You can do so from the following (Direct X 10) - Link.

This should solve your problem.

Regards, and welcome to the game!

Hello, I have updated my DirectX to an updated version of the DirectX 9. I am no longer getting that error whenever I boot up the game. But, I still have a white screen whenever I log onto the game itself. Everything is white except the GUI's.

I have tried running the game with OpenGL and Direct3D, using Safe Mode and Windowed Mode. I also checked the "update all at once" checkbox in the options menu, but the effort was to no avail, I still have the white screen problem.

I reinstalled the game, and this appeared:

I clicked OK, and it said the game has been sucessfully been installed on your computer.

This also appeared while it was downloading the first patch at the Client screen :

I need some help. Thanks!

Hello Aldreth,

What is the name of your graphic card? are the drivers up to date?

The first error, I don't have a clue what might be causing it, as you already updated to the latest version of Direct X 9.

About the last error, that sometimes happens on the game launcher, don't worry about it.

Quick FAQ:

Where can I download the drivers? Well from this links below, according to the graphic card you currently using:

Will this fix my problem? Lets hope that it does .

Web Site of nVidia
Web Site of ATI
Web Site of Intel
Web Site of XGI
Web Site S3 Graphics - For UniChrome/GammaChrome/DeltaChrome
Web Site of SIS

Check that and see if anything changes.

Note: Sometimes reverting to a old driver solves the problem, if nothing from the above helped, try doing that.

Regards.

Direct X 10 is not available for Windows XP.
And because he tried using both OpenGL and Direct3D, DirectX is clearly not the problem here... still I don't have any clue what it might be.

Uups, thanks for the reminder, post edited .

I believe it might be a drivers issue, i hope when he updates the drivers his problem is fixed. But I am merely guessing here.

Regards.
