Game won't start
I am unable to start game in linux Ubuntu 6.10. I used the installer thingy and it down loaded the needed files. when I push the exe to start the interface it just changes my screen resolution and does nothing. i really like that a company has finally done something with linux. Maybe I did something wrong. Not sure. i loaded the linux version. it started and down loaded some kind of files then wouldn't play. Plus on top of that I am not very linux savvy. Help please!

graphic card
what is your graphic card?
ATI/Nvidia? www.ati.com www.nvidia.com I'm sure you'll find help on ubuntus forum for installing the drivers. I'm not using ubuntu myself so i cannot tell you how to use distro specific packages, but i know there is a tool for ubuntu called automatix2 that installs nvidia drivers in an easy way, maybe you could try that?

If, by chance, you've got a new-ish nvidia card, I had great luck using the "Envy" script to get my video drivers installed. They're working great with Regnum (and, off-topic as it may be, Beryl). ^_^
Here's a link to the how-to I used on the Ubuntu forums: http://www.ubuntuforums.org/showthre...highlight=envy I'm a Linux newbie myself, though, so for all I know I could be steering you toward blind screaming catastrophy... I've no clue what you might do if you've got an ATI card. Never had one in my life.
