Combat music

Hello,

I like playing Regnum and I like listening Regnum's music theme. But there's one situation when i hate it. And it's during the fight. Ok, I can turn combat music off. But when I restart the game combat music is on. I always have to go to menu to uncheck combat music, i hate that! Tell me what i have to do to turn it off permanently?

Making a guess here, but logically makes sense. Go to this file:

C:\Program Files\NGD Studios\Regnum Online\LiveServer\game.cfg

and change this line:

snd_music_combat_enabled = 1 should change to snd_music_combat_enabled = 0

*Edit* And remember to save the file afterwards.

When you close the in-game options window, your options should be saved.
Apparently there is a bug there.

the bug is most likely due to the client shutting down improperly. I find that I had to make a dozen or so attempts at shutting my client down (ie: going in game and resetting things) before I got my hotbar to save properly.

I've looked into my /home/user/games/RO/live/game.cfg file and i see:

snd_music_combat_enabled = 0

But every time i run Regnum i must turn combat music off.
I'm ubuntu.6.10 user.
