Question Problem with nv4_disp.dll

Hi.

I have been dealing a problem since few days ago...
After playing 5 or maybe 10 mins screen and sound freezes and 5-10 secs later i get a nice blue screen with these on it:
Quote:
A problem has been detected and windows had been shut down to prevent damage to your computer. The problem seems to be caused by the following file: nv4_disp.
If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:
The device driver got stuck in an infinite loop. This usually indicates problem with the device itself or with the device driver programming the hardware incorrectly. Please check with your hardware device vendor for any driver updates.

Ok... On the first time, i restarted the pc as it said :P
On the second i started getting worried :P
So searched in google and found some articles about it. Many mmorpg gamers have this prob with even latest video cards. Prob is that noone rly knows where this prob comes from... Some says from BIOS, others from memory and others from the video card driver... Even from low voltage power or pc dust...

This problem doesnt appear every time i play. Only sometimes... Thats why i cant understand from where it comes from ffs. For example, atm my hunter is logged in arround 1h afk and np at all.

I also have visited nvidia's site and searched for latest drivers... They have an auto detector and it says:
Quote:
Product : NVIDIA GeForce Go 7400 <--- Thats my card.
Current Installed Driver : 82.94 <--- Thats true too.
Latest Driver Update : Quadro NVS Release 185 for Notebooks (Version: 185.81, Release Date: April 30, 2009)
But i am afraid to install it, cause its too new and says that its beta :P

I am very dumb on these pc issues so every help would be welcomed. But pls in simple words :P

My pc specifications are:
OS: XP Media Center
CPU: Intel Centrino Duo 1.6GHz
RAM: 1GB
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce Go 7400 256MB

ThankS

PS: Sorry for my crappy english

Exclamation [ solved ]

Prob solved by updating my video card driver to version 179.48 (kinda patched cause original version doesnt support Vaio notebooks) and not to 185.81!

Earned +10 fps too i think!

Credits to Mira <3

Regards
