attack speed

does +attak speed items work by taking off a percentage off your attak speed?

or is it you have a certian amount of speed to reduce it, for example u need +15% attak speed bonuses to get your wepon from slow to medium???

It will make your character attack just a little bit faster. You might not notice it but it might just save your life in a fight.

I'm not sure about attack speed, but I know that cast speed is a bit mis-named. I.e. if you have 50% cast speed (arc. dev. lvl 5) you will experience half the cast time - it is in fact a 50% cast time reduction, not a 50% cast speed acceleration.

I guess attack speed works the same? And you'll need 25% attack speed to go from med to fast etc.

Yeah it seems to be the same as cast speed (arcane devotion).
I remember megrim explaining the 'new' TFB a long time ago
it should defenatly be a percentage of the invocation.

I think it is roughly +25% invocation for each attack speed, that would mean that you need about 20% bonus to reach the weapon speed below.

sorry in advance if this is incorrect, but i read before on the forum (i have no idea where) that for archers the difference between bows is approximately 4% attack speed difference... for instance a slow bow with a 4% attack speed bonus will shoot at the same speed that a medium bow shoots at... and with a 8% a slow will approximate the attack speed of a fast bow.... i do not know how this applies to war weapons or staffs, they could be using a different formula for those weapons... hope this helps

This is incorrect, its ~25% attack speed between Slow -> med and med -> fast.
