Repetative Crashing on Herulf's Slopes

I rolled up a new archer yesterday and played as per normal until about level 8. I got the quest to go to Montsognir so I ambled off as a good little Dwarf running an errand should.

However, I never reached my destination. At about the base of the slope I crashed with a generic crash message and every time I log in that character now, I crash again. It seems strange though since with my mage I can traverse the slope without problems at all.

Any ideas? I wish I could provide more information, but that seems rather impossible.
