NGD Question about char-realm choice

I have some questions about chars and realms...

1. What is initial atribute points good for?

2. Are chars divided by realm history? (ex.: Ignis with powerfull mages, syrtis skilled archers and alsius strong warriors?)

The answers will raise me more question, so plz don´t spam the topic!

1. Initial points give you an indication of your race strengths, they aren't very different from race to race and is up to you to enhance that strength or balance your char race with other available. However the implications of each attribute relates to class and not to race. Furthermore the existence of stat items may, in certain situation, render race differences pointless.

2. Yes. On average a Syrtis char has more Dex, an Ignis char more conc and an Alsius char more Str (if I can recall correctly, I once did a simple study on it, and how that was related to realm items, but it was prior to 1.0 release so...), but there are races in each realm that can be comparable, at least in one attribute, to other realm races. As above mentioned you have 5 points to distribute in order to balance things even further.
