Hunter Pet Idea
OK, a friend had a great idea for hunter pets, that wouldn't imbalance things but that would be fairly cool. OK, each realm seems to have their own creature that you kill on a regular basis in the main area. In Alsius, for example, you have the giant blue dragon. Well, what if, somewhere near the realm's creature, there was a level 50 monster that was, basically, a miniature of it? So, if you were a lvl 50 Aslian hunter, you could use tame beasts (or monsters, depending on how you look at the dragon), and tame one of them. Nothing huge, about the size of one of the tigers or something, but just a miniature version?
No freaky stats, just mirrored from another l50 monster, for all it matters, but it would be sort of neat. When you saw one in the WZ, you would know the status of the hunter, and it is sort of like a realm thing, since you either have to tame your own, or sneak into an enemy realm when the gates are down and tame one of theirs. No imbalance, but just something cool to see in the WZ when you run into other players. Thoughts? |

Actually - All I ever wanted NGD to do was give hunters a level 51 beast that didn't hit like a sissy...you know - like a lvl 51 version of the beastly hyena.

All i've ever asked for is a small (wolf or similar) lvl 50 or 51 pet with decent dmg.
A pet dog would be cool, and would look so much better than the huge, dopey-looking trolls that many hunters run around with. |

I also always prefered wolf style pets compared to the lumbering giants like tol-tars and trolls etc, same theres no level 50/51 mob that falls into that catagory

I don't think you should be able to tame any mob that shows a background of intelligence, such as crafting headgear, diapers, harnesses, tools and weaponry. Intelligent and self-aware creatures often do not respond kindly to attempts at being tamed.
