Really?
NGD you seriously need to do something about save camping. Make it against the rules or something.
Tomatoes just sit there and camp us at night when we barely have anyone on. its pathetic so please do something about it |

i think it already is. There is supposed to be a RP penalty for killing too close to save. But when you have 100k rps+, who cares about 20 here or there?
And some of us dont care at all about RP's. So well gladly sacrifice them to kill at a save point. I myself dont save-camp, ftr. |

If your gates weren't in danger couldn't you just spawn at the realm wall?

wah wah wah wah wah wah,
know whats awesome, i made close to 1.1k rps while ya'll stood around like idiots! thought id point that out first. secondly as klutu so pointed out.... rezz wall?? it is a function, you can do it you dont have to dance and clap and let me kill you over and over and over =p. thirdly ya'll save camp just as much, if you cant take it dont dish it out! ps. running from the save and running back into isn't going to give -rp, after you leave the 15 meter safe zone your protection is lost. |

Nobody forces you to respawn at the save. I do, because for me it is fun figuring out how to survive or even kill enemies while outnumbered. That's the kind of teamwork practice you'll never get when you're part of a zerg. Not everyone shares this attitude, but I can usually count on having some fun with like-minded players.
When or if it becomes not fun anymore, I can always rez at wall.

Who gives a shit about RP?
The only reason I don't save camp is because it's pathetic to do. |

To quote the Italians.
"WAH, WAH, go spawn at your gate" Enjoy it, and for the record they are not tomatoes. A tomato is something that grows in your Syrtian gardens. |

I agree its pathetic. What save-camoing does is basically eliminate the save as a valid ress point, which, I'm sure, is NOT how NGD "intended the game to be played". So everyone that does it just says "WAH WAH WAH, ress at wall." Well, then we have the gate-campers. While not as common as save camping, it is not uncommon for several enemy players to camp the realm gates. So, following the "res at wall" rationale, we now have no res options at all except inside the realm.
My recommendation, if your getting camped at a WZ save, stay inside it, manuver behind pillar, so they cant hit you directly, and announce the save-camper on realm chat. There is usually someone not too far that can come and exterminate the loser. If your ranged, then try to kill the pathetic waste of server resources from inside the save. If your not, then hope the loser comes inside the save. They do sometimes. And if you die, and you have stayed inside the save, then comfort yourself in the fact that they are X number of RP's less than they were. AND, if you keep going back, your keeping the life-less loser in a single place, while the reinforcements you called for arrive. FTR, I distinguish tween syrt and ignis by syrtis = Hippies, and ignis = Rednecks. Alsius, of course, are normal people. |
