Bringing together Alsius
Reasoning for post-
So after some debating on Alsius realm chat I figured to carry this over to the forum so all people can read and post their opinions. Background- Just so people don't think I'm just some random player giving some half assed idea I figured I'd say a little bit about my experience in guilds. Before Regnum I've played a few games, but most notably World of Warcraft. I'm sure I'm not alone here saying that, but that's beside the point. During my time playing WoW I've been in many different guilds with many different agendas. The one I found (and later became one of the admins for) was a guild that was made up of a few admins to lead the guild. These admins would decide on the actions of the guild to ensure the goals are met. As such the best possible solutions were found and executed successfully. My solution to the following problem will be based off how that guild operated. Problem- It seems to me the problem with Alsius is lack of leadership, ie different clans having their own agendas and not working together. (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong). Solution- Forming a guild with a few admins (guild leaders) seems to be the best way to tackle a problem, like invasions. With a group of such leaders there is a higher chance there will always be at least one of them on to take care of invasions and issues that may arise. About the leaders- Being a leader sucks, plain and simple. It may sound glamorous but in reality it's a tough job that requires patience, perseverance, and passion. A leader must be able to intelligently and respectfully handle issues within the guild and in turn gain the respect of their members. No one wants to listen to somebody who is constantly bickering or spamming chats with nonsense. If people share this same idea then let it be known either here or in-game. Together we can form a guild that will accomplish the goals set forth by the game. As a note if someone is willing to start a guild then I would gladly help out leading such a guild with the same ideas in mind. I've experienced the best and worst of guilds and as such have gained knowledge in leading a successful guild. Feel free to post your opinions (but have some respect if you disagree with someone in this thread and wish to actually be taken seriously) |

Exactly, set the precedent for how a guild should work and others will follow. And just to add on to my post that if anyone wants to contact me in game my toon's name is Forseen. Our realm has some great players, its just time we work together to get things done!
