Default Game crash as it starts.

When I first start the game and hit "enter game world" it goes full screen completely gray, then crashes. I'm on windows xp with Dell Dimension 4600. It's stock from the factory. If there's any other information that would help, tell me how to get it, and I'll let you know.

The message I get when it crashes is the best I could pull from memory. Here it is:

The instruction at (random code) referenced memory (random code). The code could not be "read".

Thank you for any help you can give.

Never mind everyone, I fixed it. I started messing around, and realized I didn't have my 3D process0r on DirextX.
