Ok guys this is my taking a break thread.... If you see me on in the WZ activly fighting chances are it isnt me. Like Znurre i'm taking a break until gameplay improves i was holding out see what the new graphics update would look like but to be honest i dont want to hold out that long.
On a side note i put in a poll to ask how many times a day people ragequit the game? by rage quit i mean fed up of grinding fed up of being farmed fed up of farming pissed off at any aspect off the gameplay. |

Omg! lol
when i log on barb these days it's like trying to talk a guy from jumping off a building, the slightest thing will set me off normally a resist/evade streak or syrtis zerging my lvl 33 hunter is more playable then a lvl 50 barb that speaks for the current balance :P when grinding i ragequit cause it's tedious and boring when questing in Alsius i ragequit from lvl 21-28 Gokstad to mont to birka to hopstad quests... FUUUUUUU!!!!!!

I normal don't RageQuit. but lately I have done it more offten.
mostly due to class balance, and (Just want to let everyone know I love you all.) but the people are starting to get to me. Not just the other realms at battles, but my own realm. I won't go in to why. But it has forced me to ragequit more offten.

To Syrtis:
Zerging a fort with 30 people everyday makes a lot of people simply not want to play during that time as it is rather miserable being farmed by crazy numbers. Maybe you don't care, I dunno. Is it really fun for you though to do that? On topic: I've never ragequit but if ever there was a reason to it would be syrtis making a miserable game environment for the other two realms during their daily zerg fests. Why don't you at least invade or something with those numbers? Oh, right... you suck. |

Nice thread hun btw.
After trying all the realms in Horus now..I've finally found the best on imo(no offence to people ive met and stayed friends with in the other realms), which is Alsius of course and the realm that reminds me most of Ra. However there is a certain downside to being in this realm, the lack of balance is a huge problem but our tenacity as a realm and just how well we fight when we put our heads together is truly awesome. Guys you rock! Quote:

Before any of syrtis reply to mine or kaliek's thread with flames of 'stop complaining..' or 'its not our fault'..dont...cos its bollocks..you have a choice whether you take a fort with those numbers...with those numbers half could go to a fort in Ignis and half come to Alsius. Yes NGD should address the balance issues but other than 1. Booting out 1/3 of the fort zerg we get(invasion i dont mind so much..its an invasion your meant to have a big ass force) 2. Finding more players for the other realms...oh wait this last one the developers can fix...remember those two words were promised months ago.... Character Transfers. After playing over 2 years...people i'm bored...no new content...promises not delivered... same shitty repeated events...pm's and emails not answered by ngd when you repeatedly ask for help, messing with a combat system which I personally thought was better for archers, all this just makes me sad and slightly angry. I love this community damn it...the people, the GM's and Dev's are brilliant awesome even, but seriously for this game to go forward...you need to listen to us 'older' players before its too late... |

I actually don't in fights.
most of the times i been killed i just shrug it off, simply because it was funny anyways. last time i was killed at a save by some camper while i was trading..that was nice for a laugh but i guess they needed the rp. i dont farm, actually im rarely IN the wz because its either dead, or constant farm or farmed. if syrtis farms then i grind, if syrtis has no zerg they give up, and spam rlm and cuss or flirt with the 1-50 ratio of guys to girls, till said attacker leaves fort or they get a big enough zerg. common p[hrases heard on syrtis whens eve/vesper on? "insert name here" is a cheater/noob because he hacks or uses "insert skill here" (5) wheres our zerg? farm at trell/agg dancing at cs or flirting as usual..or spamming nonsenical things like youd find in some pokemon rpg room. so i sometimes rage quit cuz of the annoying crap maybe. i want transfers more than ever, to RA again though, or maybe its time for a new game...i just find myself having to find reasons to log on day to day now...and it shouldnt be that way.

I mean, yesterday we held aggers for about 4-5 hours, and eventually, it turned into a farm (it was a good war to start with), so we moved to samal.... which quickly turned into a farm too, so I got bored after a while, and ran to the save to suicide, and just started grinding. Suddenly I see why so many players are leaving syrtis for other realms.... Might've been better if half the group had gone each way, I guess... but everyone just wants to get away from the boring bit, which makes somewhere else boring too. Because then you'd complain about syrtis always invading Quote:

I rarely ragequit but if I do it's not because of the game in itself but more because of the people/zerg (Syrtis)...
Sometimes some people pisses me off (eg : zerging trelleborg or empty forts every possible time, listening to noob generals, doing stupid actions, waiting for bosses instead of cleaning our WZ, 15+ people afking at cs, etc...) but it justs get me more angry against them, but instead of ragequitting, I just reskill as warju for some days/weeks, and occasionally when there's no decent fort wars, I turn off realm chat tab and go hunt alone in Ignis WZ. And if there's a decent fort war (eg: not trelleborg), I come with my warju setup and just target enemies without caring of my allies, and this much more fun for me than trying to support a brainless zerg. I think that if I couldn't do this I'd ragequit almost everyday, but I think I really ragequitted maybe 5 times since I'm playing ? I'm not as old player than most here, so I'm still very indulgent to NGD because they are a very small team, that developing a game using its own 3D engine working both on Linux/Windows with so few people and listening to all the persons in a quite big community must be really a very very hard work even if sometimes I don't understand some NGD priorities and decisions, I think they are doing their possible, and that they are really kind enough to let this game free to play, and that they try to keep the balance beetween Xim/free users. Remember that this game is free, that they don't have the same ressources as the big MMORPG companies. So that's why I'm not ragequitting because of the game on itself, and anyways I'm only playing the mage class, probably the easiest one. I played barb for a while, leveled it to lvl 35 and just abandoned it because really it was too hard to grind/play compared to mages. But that's true... This game is getting boring. Same WZ, same people, same actions, same forts, it's almost like a routine now : 12h-18h : boredom, 18h-20h : Trelle farming, 20h-01h : Aggers/Samal farming, 01h-07h : Ignis farming Syrtis and trying to invade, well, there's no surprise anymore. Now the only really fun thing for me are bridge fights, open fields and solo hunting. The gameplay is getting worse each update, there's prehistorical bugs still not fixed, 50% of the spells are just useless crap, grinding is a pain, but I'm still hoping for NGD to fix this... but maybe one day I will start to ragequit because of the crappy gameplay... My 2 cents

I don't ragequit, but I sometimes ragegrind, if I'm at a farm-fest, and it doesn't look like more of our guys will show up, or any of theirs will go away.

Ragequit, not so often unless I get a extended period of 'zomg why do they resisteth all of mine spells, even the friggen pets >.<'
More often just boredquit, farming with Syrtis at samal/aggers is fun for all of 60 seconds if im lucky, then I realise we are just steamrollering them and half their army is just standing around the save, a quarter is camping a bridge and the rest are walking/clapping/dancing their way into the zerg meatgrinder.
