Glitching GC?

Is it considered abuse to aggro a guard captain and then get everyone off the ground level, so that he runs in circles under the tower, and you can kill him without him fighting back?

Perfectly fair, unfair but legal, wtfhax ban?

I made a thread about this way back (and so have plenty of others) it seems people are split, but to me its clearly taking advantage of poor AI, thus breaking the same rule as if you drown a gem 'exploiting non intentional mechanics in game for your own benefit' or something like that.

Unless NGD intend to the GC to run around like a headless chicken when aggro in this way.

At least we can have one big infected chicken in place of GC. It will be more fun to kill it

P.S. I want Infected Chicken Boss Mob. It can drop chicken suit.

Did it ever occur to you that i went into the tower to heal up a bit? Just asking....

This thread is pretty old, so you may not remember the exact circumstances. You were only one of several alsius in the tower, and just happened to be my target at the time (being a conjurer and all), it was in no way directed at you specifically. Not to mention, since support conjurers rarely try to deal damage I kinda doubt you were the one that aggroed the GC into the tower :P

But no, you didn't go in the tower to heal up. All 5-7 Alsius were in the tower fighting the GC for 5 minutes or more.

Ok Van I'll take it. Thanks for clearing that up. But if i recall correctly i was the only conj there, and as you said it was a while ago. But in all honesty i think all rlms do this with small groups. But it is what it is. And yes, i luffs agroing GC's with my uber 120's!

and actually... it was me fighting the GC, alone.. the others were all trying to keep me alive... i sweated blood and tears killing that fkr, and you and that barb a couple of times.. we remember it well.. i had to stop and have a cigarette after that battle... but i can assure you... i ran up the ramp once, and once only .. to get some heals... the rest of the time.. i was on the ground fighting that GC... did not glitch it to keep it in the tower... just used the tower doorway to bottleneck the aggro i was taking... i can see why you would think that... i have seen ppl do what you are reffering too... and yeah.. gotta agree that is rather lame... but if you want a dexterity workout with your fingers... might i suggest you try to barb-tank a GC with only conj support solo sometime... it was a blast... but not something you want to repeat often
