[LAG]Game unplayable
Hi guys,
Before to post here, I made a lot of tests. I tried to uninstall/reinstall the game and updated it. I tried to format my hard disk and reinstall game, defragmentation indeed. I updated all my drivers and especially my drivers of my graphic card. I tried to restart my ADSL router many time and updates firmwares too. I tested other MMORPG and Online Game to see If I encounter the same problem and apparently not. I launched some ping test and all results are good. No network shared at home, no other computer has internet access. No download, no other network application used while I'm playing. The problem is I have insane lagg since around 1 week. I don't know if there was something on Horus server since this period but the game is really unplayable for me. I never had this problem before, I already contact just to be sure nothing was wrong with my network => No failure at all. It started since 7-10 days during the afternoon it was like impossible to play and I noticed it was better very late when less people are online. Since the last update, it's all the time no matter when I try to log on game. I didn't try yet to test on Râ and Amun server but I'll try and let you know. All I know is since the last update it's worst than before. I'm playing from Paris (France) for information, I don't know if other french players got this problem too. I did some bandwith/ping test => It happens only with this game, that's why it's so weird x) Screenis speak for itself ... See the Alt+P Window with ugly packet loss without moving and acting with my char in game so I let you guess when I try to walk/cast etc .... As you can see, my Inet ping seems to stay in the green but the other indicators are scary o_O And when I try to log off and iit makes that only since the last update for this type of problem when I log off => Any advice and help are welcome if you already encountered this type of problem with RO.

Closing Regnum Online needs also much longer than before the update. |

Thank you. I didn't find this thread earlier. I may use the wrong keywords he he.
It's a bit frustrating with a correct PC configuration. Intel processor : Q9450 2Go DDR2 - 8500 Crucial HDD - WD Caviar 400Mo HDD - WD Raptor 150 Go GC : 8800GT 512Mo Internet 8Mbps I'll follow the thread you mentionned then. Thx again PS : This thread can be closed. Sorry.
