Ask NGD - Week 3

Hi,

Continuing with the idea from Ask NGD, in this thread you may ask questions to NGD that will be selected by us. Once selected they will be voted by all of you and the winning question will be replied by NGD.

Questions will be accepted until Thursday. On Friday, they will be polled for you to vote them until Monday morning. The winning questions will be replied on Monday afternoon.

You can ask again the questions proposed in the previous thread except the winner one.

Please bear in mind that the only posts taken into consideration will be the ones with a question related to Regnum. Any other post will be deleted.

How does your vision of (class)balance look?

Will you go on making spells more situational? Will you nerf ccs? Shall classes be balanced in 1v1? Will you try to minimize luck?...

What was the reason behind removing shield drops with bonuses?
(I don't know if it was because it made knights OP, but as duel wielding might come one day for barbarians, it would be only fair to allow shields with bonuses to be dropped again.)

Is NGD still planning on adding expansions to the map? Or will these come after the current map is redesigned?

These, and many other items were removed from drop formulas when Lucky Boxes were added to the game. Just like how it was once possible to drop helmets with constitution bonuses. Many of the drops were redone, and in addition to that caps were added in bonuses. The max bonus for +Attack Range or +Attack Speed is 5%, max bonus for health and mana is +150, max bonus for +Hit chance is 25, and the max bonus for attributes is +5. (Note: This is the warrior/archer cap, mage drops will get a few more points, +7% AS/CS, etc.)

This all changed probably to put Lucky Boxes somewhere.

Does NGD have any plans to make super bosses drops completely random so that every class can have a fair chance to get them? As it is now some classes are totally excluded or have almost no chance to get the drops.

Would it be possible to expand the icon bar? The actual system is outdated in my opinion.

Is there anything planned to resolve the problematic of boring grinding?
Will there be Dungeons?
Do you plan to enhance the Clan system?
What changes are you planning for Invasions?
If you are not planning to edit the magna weapons, will you delete the rocks and other loot from rocks in order to obtain more magna, or let at least epic monsters/dragons drop an number of magnas besides their normal boss weapon/armour drops?

Will the magna weapons ever be upgraded, their stats are horribly outdated now
