That's the setup I'm planning on using once I hit 50 on my barb. Some thoughts and suggestions would be appreciated

Btw, I'm not looking for a Feint/Kick SC monkey all slashing build. The point of the build posted above was to achieve high hits with normals. I'm just worried about mana though

If you want max damage max tactics is not the way to go

you want your Weapon Tree Maxed - 2hand maxed - Warcrys maxed tfb 5 berserk 5 your weapon magnifcation maxed - Don't bother with your STR passives there not worth it. Invest in Roar/Howl on atleast 1 if your wanting Max Damage go with Expansive Wave as your Area

Typhoon/Thunder/Lightning are really not worth it imo.. If your slash go with Devastate if you want a second area (low mana low cd - Good damage)

If not choose RotE or Boost Roar/Howl to 3

Feint 1 is really all that is needed Caution 1 if you want it

Thats about it if you want max damage

Well, you're cutting down dps quite a bit by dropping SC.

Caution is not needed since the recent nerf, it's one more buff and quite a bit of mana for just a few points less dmg.

If you have tactics 19 just for Martial Reflexes, that's not really worth it. Drop it to 17 and get 2HM to 19 for 5 fulm/tfb.

Kick > feint under all circumstances (lower cd, ignores attack cycle, less mana, dmg to go through DI and confuse) if you're using a sword, so get it to 3 and lower feint to 1.

I personally don't think ons is worth it, especially when it's only lvl 3, because the aim is to be up in front with your fellow warriors, and with the lowered range quite a few people will be left out. If you want an AoE ally support skill, use OWTH.

If you have points left after that, get expansive wave. If you still have points left, get piercing up to 7 and put a point in versatility for 4 free str, along with the 1 point in lethal anatomy you have.

Otherwise, it's fine.

So I guess Martial Reflexes isn't worth the points, but why not? Is the crit bonus noticeable? And yeah, I see what you're saying about Kick vs Feint, so I'll switch that up. I was debating between Ons and OWTH, but either one is ok.

The reason I didn't want SC is only because I don't like relying on one power for huge DPS. I was trying to max my normal damage, so TFB probably is the way to go.

Is UM really not necessary at lvl 5?

Why do you use kick 1, feint 3? Each lvl of feint gives you +1s knock each 25s for 30 mana, +1 lvl kick gives 1s knock each 20s and +40-60 dmg for only 20 mana.

Pretty much, but also keep in mind:

1. You don't have any other tactics skills on lvl 5. If you're a knight and focusing on knocks/defensive support, it may be worth it, but as it is now, the crit bonus isn't all that noticeable (it'll go from, what, 13% to 26% or so when you're 50).
2. By maxing tactics, you lose max 2HM. Lvl 5 Fulm and TfB will do much more for you than lvl 5 Martial Reflexes.
