sound doesnt work

I've a friend whose regnum sound doens't work. He has the audio on, the speakers, and the headphones too but he still can't listen the regnum sound. Oh this only happens on RO cuz he can listen to music etc... he has window 7 i don't know if it's related or what so ever... any ideas of what's causing this disturb?

ps: he has already unistalled and reinstalled the game several times

You need to have Openal for sound to work.

"Você tem que ter um "aplicativo" chamado Openal para o som funcionar. Geralmente é instalado junto com o Regnum."
