7th time downloading

its wednesday afternoon i have uninstalled and downloaded again
still doesnt get past "http retriever is ready"
i have tried the little tricks i was told would fix this.
nothing has worked.
i have also asked for an announcment if a fix was put in a new download.
no responce.
please tell me what should i do next its been 3 days
