Mouse under game

Hi. I downloaded the client just yesterday and installed it with no hitches, but when I went to play I had a problem. At the point in which the game is obviously supposed to change my cursor to the game cursor it only moves my cursor under the game window and fails to initialize its own cursor.
Unfortunately I am running Linux.
I Googled my problem and found that many other people have been unable to even begin playing because of this bug.
I do not have Ubuntu, I believe I may have a recent form of KDE (though I may be wrong)

Oh, by the way (sorry to double post but I can't figurre out how to edit)
I found a person online who had this bug running linux and they said they had to turn off post processing, but I already tried that several times and it didn't work.

Did you really download all files? I had that issue too, at the very beginning

Umm... when you say download all files? The installation when off without a hitch as far as I could tell.

simply start the game and wait for a few minutes
