So, Do you think that Horus should be merged with Raven?

I voted No

I don't see what makes Raven such a "better" server then Horus is today. Bringing in more ppl for the "nightcrews"? Well fine. But it does nothing for me, as a europeen player.

I would personally appreciate a merge, or the abilaty to transfer my Horus chars to Ra, SO much more.
Would might even consider a transfer to one of the German servers (at least more so then Raven)

Hidra, I asked him.
I wanted to prove a point that the previous poll result does not automatically mean that people want a merge with Raven.
He was continually interpreting the poll to mean this. If I said that it does not in the other thread, he would doubt me all the way.

This poll will put an end to the idea that 75% Of Horus want a merge over bug fixes or want a merge at all.

Sometimes too much is read into polls.

Horus = European English Server
Raven = North American English Server

Leave it that way; I left Horus to play in my own timezone..

In terms of gameplay, I don't think NGD's contract with GameSamba and the creation of Raven was a bad move at all. In terms of the state of NGD as a company, that's another story...

Horus and Ra are both international servers, but in my eyes, Horus would always be subject to timezone issues mainly because of the wide array countries that were given access to the server, countries nearly on the opposite sides of the globe. Though it's the same with Ra, it's their original spanish server and thus has attracted players in a generally specific timezone (NGD's general timezone).

Because NGD now redirects players mainly living in the United States to this new server,I see the usage of Raven as a means to balancing some of the timezone issues that Horus is experiencing to this day. Being a player from the United States myself, it'll be different knowing that no new players from my country are being allowed into the server. However, I wouldn't be in favor of a merger because it's a possibility that in the long run, Raven was a good investment in terms of timezone balance.......maybe. We'll see this in time.

Torcida. This possesion of yours has no future. NGD decided to make a server for NA, to have higher income (They're not charity, you know...) Also this was supposed to stop increasing timezone imbalance. If you hate Horus so much and think it will die, leave.

There is no meaning to a pool like this, apart from few egoists prooving to the world how wrong NGD is.

Deal with it.

I've heard lots say it. But I cant recall I've ever read an official statement.

Cause to me, having only 1 timezone on a server would the worst solution. Like the german servers (when I grinded my char there I did it during "night", Gmt+1)

There was invasions/attempt around 3-4 am there as well. Simply the realm with the most "hardcore" players invade the most. Nothing really changes

You should make a poll to see how many people agree that the players that fled Horus to join Raven, should come back.

theres no way to avoid this for 100%. its just impossible. there are always players like this in games, like there are people you dont like irl
