Default Jumping, yes or no?

NGD never asked if we even wanted jumping, so let's have a poll....

No, because there are alot of positional bugs already, and this will just cause imbalance (rangeds jumping on rocks and getting in tricky places, shooting melee's) and bug abuse, jumping over/into stuff.

Yes, because although it indeed looks awful, it will hopefully bring more players.

I am not against jumping, but this should only be implemented, if it works flawlessly without half a dozen bugs.

And no bunny hopping please. Bunny hopping doesn´t fit into a serious game.

No vote for now.

No because RO doesn't need this.

As I said when mouse look and strafing was implemented, I really think this is the wrong approach.

During my time playing Regnum I've tried a lot of other MMOs.
Usually the controls and the behavior was far from the same as in Regnum, yet I could stand it as long as the game itself was somewhat decent.

It feels like NGD are trying the opposite tactic: "If the controls and behavior are decent, I can as well play Regnum instead of some other f2p game."
Instead, I feel they should work on improving the game so people choose to stay because of the qualities of the actual game, not how similar it is to other popular MMOs in which case it can never become more than a half assed free replacement.

I also feel that the efforts to mainstream the game are taking away from these qualities I am talking about, which creates a vicious cycle where the game will just keep going downwards in actual gameplay quality.

I don't have an opinion on the jumping itself but the falling damage imo is good.. shortcuts were kind of lame + when your in an enemies fort and your getting hit by an enemy , that enemy usually jumps down as soon as he gets hit and hugs the guards. Now he has to use the stairs

No because is useless feature in RO gameplay...you cant evade or other think by jumping,is more a estetical feature than a practical.

...it is fun and looks funny.

On a more serious note, a problem i see is targetting difficulties, but thats the only real issue apart from cosmetic annoyances. The falling damage could be a nice addition to tactical positioning.
