Balance?

The great syrtis invasion - 20 syrtis on 1 alsius - is this ngd balance? :/
We can't do anything, only were killed by zerg.
How does ngd see on correcting balance, if nothing is doing for this?

I always ask me... for that 50% of syrtis and ignis Horus have amulet for dragon or rings?
Whereas in alsius are observed very few...

Realm balance has a joke in RO since 2007, pretty much nothing have been done to fix things either.

You should stay away from obvious farms and zergs.

Stop caring about invasions, see it as an opportunity to gank stupid gelfs instead of defeat. The game is pretty much all about numbers anyway.

Well, two out-numbered realms could help to each other versus their numerous enemies.

Is this really the way we should play the game? In reality this would make sense but I thought gaming places were ideallistic worlds. RO is far from that though ;p

It`s idealistic: you can raise up at an altar after death, use powers and wave with heavy iron things during hours.
But how can you correct the problems of out-numbered realms with technical methods only? Making Syrties twice weaker? Will you play this game youself in this case? I prefer to have intersting fight/war, but not to be «first in this sandbox».
Both, Ignis and Alsius could help each other to defend their realms. Both Ignis and Alsius could play not in individual mode. Until that there is no any technical methods to compensate such big difference in population of realms, not breaking this game at all.

Of course it's partially an idealistic world, would you like to create a new character every time you die?
But they way you make it sound it looks like there is no other solution than teaming up with other realms.
NGD is a company which concentrates on improving their game most of the day, it's their job. If they would even put the tiniest effort in it I'm sure they could find something. Are they atm? I'm sure they're not, the same goes for balance.. It just takes time, we all can wait patiently if the update would actually be an improvement for once.

I actually find it quite exciting to overcome imbalances, be it class or realm. I can see how people can get frustrated with losing all the time, but it makes that occasional victory so much sweeter.
