Did i not got my code?

Hey forum,

I heard from an ingame mate that he got a 'beginner redeem code ' in his mailbox ( irl mailbox ) and that he redeemed that ingame and got a few exp scrolls and a month white tiger mount, i did not got that so am i suppost to get this or did he just get an extra treatment?

This was from Steam for Steam players only. I am not sure how long this will be going on or even if it has stopped but it generally took (takes?) a week or two before they send out the email. Meanwhile the very first village you came to has a quest for a 7-day mount an a stack of potions.

I found that if you do not do this 7-day mount quest until you are near L20 that the mount gets to be the most useful for the longest time.

I save pots for the ends of server-wide exp boosts. Exp boosts and the exp scrolls stack but I would save scrolls (and am) until you are in the 40's or 50's. Level 54 I hear is one of the worst levels. Also save the repair hammers for your 50's as repairs get very expensive then and you'll need every penny you can get to gear for L60.

If you are a Steam player there is also a very nice Exp Pack they have for $10 that has a perminate mount, scrolls, potions and repair hammers in it.

I thought there're still 2 beginner codes active: "xfire" and "funimation" though I'm not sure about it so please correct me if I'm wrong.

They work for some people, don't work for others.
Some say, that steam users can't use them.
