Hunters have a great contraspell, 30 sec duration at lvl 1 and only 1 sec casttime, thats fair i think. Its not the locks fault that 99% of the hunters kill grinders instead of helping their realmmates.

I'll admit; I have cremation on 5. I don't like having it any more than anyone likes having it cast on them.

I probably woudn't need it at all if we could actually get the lazier factions of our realm to, you know, do something.

I'm not on my lock much these days anyways; just not fun anymore to be on a character that only exists only for the sake of mass knockdown.

There's an easy solution to cremate: Stop dying!
Maybe people should start thinking twice about rushing into the enemy lines solo just to get the last hit on that pesky runaway. You don't help anyone by getting that last bit of rp anyways, and with cremate the conj won't have to risk their neck and the fort just because of your selfish needs.

Actually interestingly enough yesterday I got hit with cremate(5) as the end of a barrage of spells that killed me. I don't believe anyone would have had time to select me.

Agreed. I think it's a good spell. If someone chooses to level 5 it, then that lock made some serious sacrifices. It's a balanced spell.

I've been recently playing a lvl 50 warlock, and as soon as I got access to it I reskilled it to have lvl5 cremate.
Even a lvl 50 lock has to sacrifice a lot to have it on lvl 5. The spell is imo just fine like this.

I know it's annoying, I get cremated lots of times and it's not fun, but for me, playing in Alsius and being outnumbered most times, it is a must have. For all Alsius' warlocks really.
We're lucky if we have 2 locks in a group trying to retake a fort, and as we're outnumbered most times, the terror---> rush--->kill---->cremate5 tactic is something you should expect from Alsius. I actually change to lock when needed with this purpose only.

So yes, I am a lvl 5 cremater and damn proud of it!
