This game looks uber ballin, and i really wanna play, but i get an error message saying


Unsupported video card!

There are three possible causes for this error:
1. Your video card is too old
2. You haven't installed the latest available drivers
3. You haven't installed the latest DirectX version


ive narrowed the list down to my video card, which is older than the computer itself (dont ask) and wonder which to buy, and where can i find it? Also which do you guys use, thanks for the help,

if you run linux, buy an nvidia card, if you run windows, ati or nvidia

Yeah, ATI or nVidia should be fine. Although I don't know what else you'd be getting anyway.

My video card isn't really that great. It's a low-end GeForce4, maybe marginally better than integrated video, but I can still play Regnum. You don't have to get anything too fancy.

Some more information about you system would be nice... If you run a 1 Ghz CPU and 256 mb ram, it would be very senseless to buy a good card. But here is my suggestion:

Actually, if you provide the output of this command from a terminal...

We'll be able to tell what card your linux box "thinks" it has. You may want to note that if you have an Intel integrated "NON-ATI" card (or other 3D rendering card) you will not be able to play the game. There's a way around it...but I do not know the answer.
