Still, passive speed is far from useless, it just depends on your setup. Mine is a bit weird, since i'm using Wild Spirit(5) and no SOTW. But it is mostly because i'm playing with zerg, to be able to stay at front of the group to track (else a hunter fall behind ...).

I don't like playing in zergs. At least not the hunter. I'd wish we could have the old effect of wild spirit back and it would work like recharged arrows... At least not every hunter has the same setup now

I'm another one that uses passive speed. That little bit of speed allows me to be a bit quicker when maneuvering during a fight without relying on mobility being casted.

If you want to be lame use passive speed and lvl5 para and spam ensnare on anyone you see travelling alone.
30 minutes and you will have your 18 rp. |

Nice replies... I have been told that at my low lvl, I should focus more on tricks and scouting. Is this right?

For grinding i would recomend that you have these skills
Evasive tactics (reduces the dmg from mobs more then acrobatics) Ambush (use while evasive is on CD and you dont have any protective buffs on you) Ensnare (good dmg) Sudden strike (lvl1 is enough for grind) Rapid shot (for when Sudden strike and ambush is on CD) Pet ( A bear/dog or some type of orc/troll) I dont have pet but the rest of the skills i mentioned is the ones i use while grinding (i grind alot). And by combining them i have very little downtime and chain kill normal mobs. And if you add the pet you will have additional dmg compared to me so it will be deacent killing speed.

I used to abuse pet armor and trow my cyclops aganist igneos and other fast hitting mobs from wich it took ridiculously low damage. I'd only have to heal it every 3 mobs or so, and in the meantime I could still kill some on my own as long as I had life and mana.
Dunno how efficient that is (kinda noob hunter here) but It was an easy going way at least. |
